Twenty LWC Football players earn Academic All MSC honors

Twenty members of the Lindsey Wilson football program earned Academic All Mid-South Conference honors, the conference office announced on Tuesday:
  • Lou Alexander
  • Dylan Beasley
  • Marcus Butler
  • Lou Bunning
  • Greg Childs
  • Marcus Dean
  • Matt Edgar
  • D'Andre Hart
  • Julian Johns
  • Ryan Karrer
  • Keegan Kendrick
  • Daniel Kimmel
  • Zachary Lawson
  • Trent Mueller
  • Christian Peery
  • Jonathan Spears
  • Rayce Thornbury
  • Payton Veraldi
  • Cedric Washington
  • Tyler Williams


In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.

Beasley, Childs, Edgar, Thornbury Williams all earn their third-career honor, while Alexander, Butler, Karrer, Kendrick, Lawson, Mueller and Peery each pick up their second.

The 20 honorees for Lindsey Wilson were the second most in the conference, trailing only Reinhardt's (Ga.) 24.
