LWC's Utolin is MSC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

COLUMBIA, KY - Dmitry Utolin is the Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

The senior forward from Dubna, Russia helped Lindsey Wilson to a 3-0 mark last week while averaging 18 points a game shooting 63.6 percent from behind the arc.





He scored 23 points for the Blue Raiders in an 80-78 victory over NCAA Division II member Kentucky State. Against the Thorobreds, Utolin added six rebounds, five assists and a steal.

Utolin shot 52.5 percent from the floor during the week while grabbing 11 total rebounds, helping Lindsey Wilson to a 7-0 start to the 2016-17 season.

Utolin earns his first player of the week honor of the season and second of his career.
