No. 8 Lindsey Wilson Football hosts Grand View in NAIA FCS Playoff First Round on Saturday

COLUMBIA, KY - The No. 8-ranked Lindsey Wilson football team welcomes No. 10-ranked Grand View (Iowa) to Blue Raider Stadium, 928 Russell Road, Columbia, KY, at 12pmNoonCT Saturday, November 18, 2016 for a NAIA Football Championship Series Playoff First Round clash.



The game is a rematch of the 2015 FCS Playoff First Round, which the Vikings won 16-13 in Des Moines, Iowa on a last-second field goal.

Lindsey Wilson (10-1) is coming off a bye week after playing 11-straight weeks to open the season. The Blue Raiders' lone loss of the season came at the hands of fellow FCS qualifier Reinhardt (GA) 55-34 at home.

Grand View (9-2) concluded the regular season with a 29-20 victory over No. 20-ranked William Penn (Iowa) on Saturday. With the victory, the Vikings captured the Heart of America Athletic Conference North Division.

Lindsey Wilson is 1-2 all-time in the playoffs. The Blue Raiders defeated Faulkner 20-17 at Blue Raider Stadium in 2014 for their lone victory.

Grand View boasts a 6-3 record in postseason play, including a victory in the NAIA National Championship game in 2013.
