Billy Lee McQueary, 69, Russell County, KY (1948-2016)

He was a factory worker for a bottling company. He was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of Edith Bernard McQueary, who survives, and he late Leonis McQueary. He leaves 29 direct living descendants.

Billy Lee McQueary, 68, of Russell Springs, died Wednesday November 9, 2016 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral service for Billy Lee McQueary will be 1pmCT, Saturday, November 12, 2016, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Lindsey Cornett officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Saturday. Interment will be in the Lucenda Cemetery. Special Music will be rendered by Matt & Leah Franklin, Larry Perkins, Curt Hill. Pallbearers: Jesse Meers, Curt Hill, Eddie McQueary, Brian Harvey, Dale MInton, and Dwight Kerr.

He was born January 18, 1948 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Leonis McQueary and Edith Bernard McQueary, who survives. He died Wednesday, November 9, 2016, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 68 years, nine months, and 22 days.

He was a factory worker for a bottling company.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Donnie McQueary.

Survivors are:
  • Three children: Teresa Harvey. Greensburg, KY; and Jodi McQueary and Darren McQueary, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Fifteen great grandchildren

  • His mother: Edith McQueary, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four brothers: Ronald McQueary, Eddie McQueary, and Danny McQueary, all of Russell Springs, KY; and Matthew McQueary, Lexington, KY

  • And four sisters: Judy Perkins, Somerset, KY; and Gloria Thomas, Mary Hill, and Sandy Kerr, all of Russell Springs, KY
