Russell County county-wide results - General Election 8 Nov 2016 Russell Countians voted overwhelmingly for President-elect Donald Trump, Senator Rand Paul, Representative elect Jamie Comer, and gave Rep. Jeff Hoover a unanimous endorsement. Three Russell County School Board Members were elected, with one contested. As well, Voters selected six Jamestown City Council Members out of seven candidates and six Russell Springs City Council Members, out of 11 running for the seats.
