LWC Volleyball has 14 Academic All-MSC honorees

By Charlie Balcom

Fourteen members of the Lindsey Wilson volleyball program earned Academic All Mid-South Conference honors, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

Mikaela Beyea, Grace Blomstedt, Anna-Lena Elbers, Rachel Green, Crystal Hodges, Alexa Just, Makenzie Montano, Mackenzie Reaves, Carolynne Silva, Dunja Sobot, Lauren Streets, Molly Thompson, Caitlyn Tino and Molly Williamson each received the academic award.

Just earns her third career award while Blomstedt, Green, Montano and Tino each collect their second.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.

The 14 Lindsey Wilson honorees are the most from a single institution in the MSC.
