Funeral services for Nellie R. Ballenger will be Friday, November 4, 11amCT at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 North Main Street, Jamestown, KY. Bro. Jerry Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Ballenger-Carnes Cemetery in Jamestown, KY. Friends may visit on Thursday, November 3, 2016, after 5pmCT at the funeral home. Nellie R. Ballenger, 79, Jamestown, KY (1937-2016) She was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY on February 22, 1937. She was a daughter of the late Maude (Guffey) and Attis Ballenger. She died Monday, October 31, 2016, at the age of 79 years, eight months, and nine days. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers Barkley, Kelly, Bobby, Ives and Ivel Ballenger; and five sisters Ruby, Bessie, Wilma Ballenger, Rachael Johnson, and Elizabeth Chapman.
