Mr. Randall Jason Morgan, Sr., 69, Green Co., KY (1946-2016)

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the House of Prayer in Edmonton, KY. Mr. Morgan was also a lifelong farmer. He was a native of Green County, KY and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of Wanda Clark Morgan, who survives, and the late Ray Morgan and the widower of Jane Kaye Robertson Morgan, his wife of 45 years. He leaves 22 direct living descendants.

Mr. Randall Jason Morgan, Sr. of Greensburg, KY, son of Wanda Clark Morgan and the late Ray Morgan, was born on December 1, 1946 in Green County, and departed this life on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his home. He was 69 years, 10 months, and 28 days of age.

The funeral services for Mr. Randall Jason Morgan, Sr. will be conducted at 10amCT, Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. Bro. Phil Lowery will officiate. Visitation is requested from 4pmCT, until 8pmCT, Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7am, Wednesday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Joshua Morgan, Sr., Joshua Morgan, Jr., Eric Rupe, Little Jay Morgan, Brock Cox, and Jacob Syra

Honorary pallbearers: Marcus Lobb, Jeff Spalding, Brandon Cox, Kendall Clark, and Ronnie Young.

Mr. Randall Jason Morgan, Sr. of Greensburg, KY, son of Wanda Clark Morgan and the late Ray Morgan, was born on December 1, 1946 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his home in Greensburg, Green County, KY. He was 69 years, 10 months, and 28 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the House of Prayer in Edmonton, KY. Mr. Morgan was also a lifelong farmer.

He united in marriage to Janie Kaye Robertson Morgan on January 9, 1970 who preceded him in death on April 21, 2015.

Besides his mother, he is survived by:
  • Two sons and a daughter-in-law: Randall Jason Jr. & Stacy Morgan of Greensburg, KY; and Joshua Lloyd Morgan & his special companion, Mandy Spears of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three daughters and a son-in-law: Laranda Kaye and Mark Lobb of Greensburg, KY; Tanya Devon Syra and special companion, Chris Pierce of Edmonton, KY; and Tracy Price and special companion, David Box of Green County, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren: Eric Rupe, Little Jay Morgan, Brandon Cox, Brock Cox, Brilynn Jessie, Kylee Morgan, Little Josh Morgan, Summer Lobb, Marcus Lobb, Hayley Lobb, Jacob Syra, Abby Decker, and Morgan Spears

  • Four great-grandchildren: Kaylee JoLynn Morgan, Makaylah Rain Rupe, Lydia Kaye Morgan, and Colton Truelock

  • Two sisters and brothers-in-law: Janice and Gene Riddle, and Staci and Jeff Spalding all of Green County, KY

  • Four brothers and three sisters-in-law: Roger Morgan, Ricky and Kathy Morgan, Royce and Vanessa Morgan all of Green County, KY; and Russell and Cookie Morgan of Smiths Grove, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Mr. Morgan was also preceded in death by a sister and brother: Starlett Pierce and Donald Ray Morgan.

The family would like to say a special thank you to all the Hosparus caregivers.
