CHS Beta members win awards By Calen McKinney Campbellsville High School Beta Club members brought home several awards on Thursday, Oct. 20, at the annual Central Kentucky Beta Invitational. Campbellsville University hosted the invitational, which features competitions in talent, service, math, English, social studies, science and agriculture, speech, poetry and Spanish and advertising design. CHS students won the following awards:
CHS students who competed in the invitational include freshmen Lauryn Agathen, Gavin Johnson, Katelyn Miller, Haleigh Murphy and Bailey Smith; sophomores Brandon Greer, Jeremiah Jackson and Jackson Hinton; juniors Chanson Atkinson, Caitlin Bright, Madison Dial, Alex Doss, Sara Farmer, Wyatt Houk, Bryce Richardson, Missy Vanorder, Ryan Wiedewitsch, Connor Wilson, Darius Wright and Kayla Young; and seniors Vera Brown, Blair Lamb, Murphy Lamb, Laura Lamb, Caroline McMahan, Zack Settle and Ricky Smith-Cecil.
