LW women's golf finishes tied for 5th at Thomas U Invitational

VALDOSTA, GA - (18 Oct 2016) The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team finished tied for fifth at the Thomas University Invitational at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.

The Blue Raiders shot a 325 today at the par-72 5,984-yard course to finish with an overall team score of 644 to tie with Southeasten (FL).



Finishing nine strokes ahead of Lindsey Wilson tied for third were SCAD-Atlanta (GA) and Campbellsville (KY). Host Thomas (GA) finished second with a total team score of 625 finishing just one stroke behind champion Cumberlands (KY).

Tara Rodenhurst finished in third place after shooting a four-over par 76 to finish seven over with a total score of 151. Courtney Vincent finished with a 161 (78-83) to tie for 18th.

Kenna Richardson finished tied for 23rd with a score of 164 (80-84). Dacie Bolton finished tied for 35th with a 169 ( 86-83) and Shayna Cockrill tied for 41st shooting an 11-over par 83 today to finish with an overall score of 176.

Diane Lim from Coastal Georgia and Caroline Parrish from Thomas finished tied for the individual title with a 147.

Lindsey Wilson has concluded the fall portion of its schedule.
