Lindsey Wilson wrestling ranked 10th in NAIA Preseason Coaches’ Top-20 Poll Life (GA) is No. 1. Campbellsville is No. 16. Cumberland (TN) is No. 17 By Anthony Latessa News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson wrestling team opens up the season at No. 10 in the NAIA Preseason Coaches’ Top-20 Poll, the national office announced Wednesday evening, October 18, 2016. The Blue Raiders earned 49.5 points in the poll. Last season, Lindsey Wilson won its fifth-consecutive Mid-South Conference title. Cam Tessari is ranked first in the 157-pound weight class earning 120 points in the poll. Matt Walker is second in the 174 class with 104 total points. Daniel Leonard is tied for sixth in the 141-pound weight class with 55 points and Ameer Daniels is ranked 15th in the 285 class earning seven points in the poll. Life (GA) is the highest ranked Mid-South Conference team in the poll at ninth with 51 points. Campbellsville (KY) is 16th with 36 points and Cumberland (TN) comes in at 17th earning 30 points. A trio of MSC teams received votes in the poll. Brewton-Parker (GA) earned 20.5 points, Cumberlands (KY) with 20 points and Southeastern (FL) with 1.5 points.
