He was a machine operator for Rocore. He was a native of Barren County, KY; and a resident of Cumberland County at the time of his death. He leaves three direct living descendants and a large family over a wide region of South Central Kentucky to cherish his legacy.

Mr. Micheal Allen "Munk" Taylor of Burkesville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in Burkesville, KY.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 4pmCT, in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Donnie Shelley and Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. Burial will be in The Smiths Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends after 12pmNoonCT on Saturday, October 15, 2016 until the funeral hour on Sunday.

He was born on Friday, February 3, 1978, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, the son of Nelda "Cookie" Davidson Reliford. He died Wednesday, October 12, 2016, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 38 years, 8 months, and 9 days.

He was a machine operator for Rocore.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ambros Davidson, his uncle, Kenny Davidson, his aunt, Vickie Lynn Davidson, and his grandparents, Barlow and Wendy Grider.

He is survived by the following:
  • His mother, Cookie Reliford of Edmonton, KY, his daddy, Terry Grider of Burkesville, KY

  • His sons: Trent Taylor and Landric Taylor of Smiths Grove, KY

  • His daughter: Madison Taylor of Burkesville, KY

  • His grandmother: "Ma" Dot Davidson of Burkesville, KY

  • Special brothers: Tony Cope of Bowling Green, KY and Neal Myers of Burkesville, KY

  • Special sister: Taylor Grider of Burkesville, KY

  • His uncles and aunts: Billy (and Sharlotte) Davidson, Juanita (and Floyd) Willis, Johnny (and Cheryl) Davidson, Linda (and Stevie) Long, Charles Davidson, Sherry (and Lecil) Fluty, all of Burkesville, KY; Chad Grider of Louisville, KY

  • Cousins: Marchelle, Lisa Jo, Christy, Ashley, Nikki, Vickie, Jennifer, Amy, Chad, Sierra, Michael, Jeff, Shannon, Kayla, and Brooke.
