LWC Education Students share Math Fun with ACPC students. By Dana Harmon On Thursday, September 29, 2016 education students from Mrs. Judy Bradshaw's class at Lindsey Wilson College put what they've learned into action. During the Camp Casey After School Program at Adair County Primary Center, 158 Col. Casey Drive, Columbia, KY they educated while entertaining using fun games to teach math to the nearly 80 students in attendance. For several years Camp Casey has had the opportunity to partner with the LWC Education instructors, Missy Arnold and Judy Bradshaw. Their students bring exciting new ways to teach different subjects to our K-2 kiddos, plus it gives the older students a chance to practice their newly acquired teaching skills. In addition to 21st CCLC/Camp Casey, the Family Resource Center and Title I provide door prizes that align with the subject area of the event. These events are open to all ACPC students and their families. Students from Mrs. Arnold's class will be bringing an afternoon of Geography to our school on October 27, 2016 from 4pm to 5pmCT. Don't miss it! -- Dana Harmon, 21st CCLC Camp Casey Director This story was posted on 2016-10-05 13:23:35
