Gonzalo Sapena earns 7th MSC Player of the Week honor By Jordan Alves CU sports information director After shutting out Marian University last week, Gonzalo Sapena was named the Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week, officials announced on Monday. The weekly honor for Sapena is his second this year and the seventh of his career. In the lone match for Campbellsville last week, Sapena recorded four saves in the shutout and now has the second-best goals against averaged in the NAIA at 0.17. The Tigers have pushed their record to 6-0-0 this season and have the longest unbeaten streak in the NAIA at 20-0-2.
