Congratulations to the students, faculty, and staff of Taylor County School District. Taylor County School District has earned the designation as District of Distinction in the State of Kentucky.
All three schools - Taylor County Elementary, Taylor County Middle School, and Taylor County High School have been named Schools of Distinction, which is Kentucky's highest academic honor.



Taylor County School District is one of two districts in the entire state to have every school in their district be classified a School of Distinction.

Taylor County School District is one of only 15 school districts to receive Kentucky's highest academic honor as being a District of Distinction.

Our community is proud of Taylor COunty Schools and excited about all the accomplishments and experiences that students and staff are continuously working hard to achieve. It's a great time to be a Taylor County Cardinal!!! - Larry Smith
