News from Lindsey Wilson College

COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson men's soccer student-athlete Andres Riquelme has been named the Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

The junior forward from Asuncion, Paraguay recorded a goal and an assist in the No. 23-ranked Blue Raiders' 4-3 overtime victory over No. 18-ranked Northwestern Ohio on Saturday night.

He assisted on Lindsey Wilson's first score of the game to tie things at 1-1, and he later provided the tying goal in the second half to help send the game into overtime with the Racers.

This is his first weekly honor of his career. He is the first Blue Raider to earn a conference award this season for Lindsey Wilson.
