The Blue Raiders (1-2) are coming off a 1-1 weekend in the NAIA Southeast Challenge. They won their first matchup of the challenge against St. Andrews (NC) by a 3-0 margin. Aleksi Pahkasalo had two first-half goals in the victory. Lindsey Wilson fell 4-1 in the second game of the challenge to Thomas University (GA). Andrew Revanales score the lone goal for the Blue Raiders.

Northwestern Ohio (3-0-1) is off to a strong start this year as they have yet to allow a goal. The Racers are coming off a 1-0 victory against No. 10-ranked Baker (KS) on Sunday. Carlos Garces Suarez scored the only goal in the game. The Racers are led by Sean Latimer who has four goals so far this season.

Saturday night's matchup is the third meeting between the two schools. Lindsey Wilson is 0-2 against Northwestern Ohio including a 3-1 loss last year.
