Ms. Misty Ann Buley, 42, Campbellsville, KY (1974-2016)

Misty was a beautiful lady and known to those who knew her as a sweet, caring, and gentle person, but one who coped with a mental illness and severe chronic drug addiction.

Ms. Misty Ann Buley of Campbellsville, daughter of Joyce Bennett, was born in El Reno, Oklahoma on March 26, 1974. She departed this life on August 15, 2016 at the Taylor Regional Hospital as the result of a heroin overdose. She was 42 years, 4 months, and 20 days of age.

There will be a memorial service to honor the life of Ms. Buley on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 5pmCT/6pmET, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Bro. Don Watson will be officiating.



Misty was a beautiful lady and known to those who knew her as a sweet, caring, and gentle person, but one who coped with a mental illness and severe chronic drug addiction.

She leaves to mourn her passing:
  • One daughter: Chloe Anna Bennett of Campbellsville, KY

  • Her mother: Joyce Bennett of Campbellsville, KY

  • A sister: Angie Bland and companion Bryan Bennett of Campbellsville, KY

  • A niece and nephew: Ava Bennett-Marr and Wade Clark

  • Three uncles: Eugene Bennett and wife Sissy, and Calvin Bennett and wife Dawn, all of Campbellsville, KY; and David Bennett and wife Lori of Savannah, Georgia

  • and a host of other family and friends.
