KSP is investigating Adair County, KY shooting Argument leads to shooting of one 22 year old man by another of same age, then shooting himself in the head. Incident takes place on Burnett Road, Columbia Next earlier article, this story:Adair County man airlifted to UL after being shot in the face By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY When investigators arrived, they found the owner of the residence, 22-year-old Christopher Janes, lying in the front yard of the residence with a gunshot wound to the head. 22-year-old Dustin Coomer, of Columbia, was found in an upstairs room of the residence with a gunshot wound to the upper torso. The two men had been involved in an argument that led to Janes shooting Coomer before turning the gun on himself. Both men were transported to TJ Health/Columbia hospital and then transferred by helicopter to University of Louisville hospital. Coomer is listed in stable condition; Janes is listed in critical condition. Tpr. Nick Davis is investigating. This story was posted on 2016-08-14 19:43:13
