Adair Co. fatality crash occurs near midnight, Fri 12 Aug 2016

Driver loses control of vehicle, hits tree head-on, then car bursts into flames. Coroner prounces driver deceased at the scene.

A 21 year old driver lost control of his vehicle on Sulphur Creek Road in Adair County, KY, last night on Sulphur Creek Road in Adair County, KY. The vehicle struck a tree and burst into flames.



Adair County EMS received a call at 11:45pmCT, Friday, August 12, 2016, according to Adair County Coroner Todd Akin.

Luis Fernando Medrano, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene, Mr. Akin said.

According to the coroner, Mr. Medrano died before the vehicle burst into flames.
