"The vibe that I get at Lindsey Wilson is one that I would not want to turn down. I'm looking forward to meeting new people, taking my learning ability to a new level and getting the chance to try new disciplines of cycling." Beeman competed at the Midwest Nationals on July 23-24. Competing in the 17-20 women's division, she placed third on the first day of competition and finished in fifth-place on the second day of the event. A 10-year BMX veteran, Beeman is currently ranked third in the nation in the 17-20 Girls' National Age Group. "Elida is a tremendous athlete on a BMX bicycle, and we have been talking with her since she was a very young girl coming up through the girls' ranks in USABMX," Mooney said. "She brings to the table a skill set that you do not see in a lot of girls. I am happy to have the opportunity to work with her at Lindsey Wilson."
