COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson women's basketball head coach John B. Wethington announced that Terran Duncan has been promoted to a full-time assistant coach within the program on Monday, August 1, 2016.

"I am very pleased to have Terran move into this position on our staff," Wethington said. "She's someone that is very familiar with our program and what we want to accomplish as a team year in and year out. She has shown she is a very knowledgeable and resourceful coach and is someone I can trust to help me continue to take this program to the next level."

Duncan begins her fourth season as an assistant coach for the Blue Raiders in 2016-17, the first year as a full-time staff member.

In her three previous seasons with the program, Duncan helped guide Lindsey Wilson to a 68-29 overall record, including a record-setting season in 2015-16 when the Blue Raiders went 28-7, setting the program record for most wins in a season, while advancing to the program's first NAIA National Tournament Quarterfinals.

She has helped coach a Second Team NAIA All-American, a Third Team All-American, an All-Tournament Second Team selection, two All-MSC First Team selections, five All-MSC Second Team selections and the MSC Freshman of the Year in 2013-14 during her three years on the Blue Raider staff.

The Mid-South Conference Player of the Year in 2006-07, Duncan totaled 1,694 points and 640 rebounds in her four seasons on the court as a Blue Raider. She earned Academic All-MSC and All-MSC First Team honors three years in a row (2005-06, 2006-07, and 2007-08). Her efforts during her junior and senior seasons helped Lindsey Wilson capture back-to-back MSC regular-season titles and NAIA All-American honors.

Duncan began her coaching career as an assistant girl's coach at Russell County High School in 2008-09, later joining the St. Catharine College women's basketball staff as an assistant in 2009-10. While with the Patriots, Duncan helped coach an All-MSC Honorable Mention and three Academic All-MSC honorees.

Prior to joining Lindsey Wilson, she was an assistant coach with the University of Pikeville women's basketball program. In her three years at Pikeville, Duncan coached an MSC Freshman of the Year, an All-MSC First Team honoree, an All-MSC Second Team Honoree and a total of 15 Academic All-MSC student-athletes.

Duncan graduated from Lindsey Wilson in 2008 with a degree in Biology and completed her master's degree in Sport Management at Morehead State University in 2015.
