Gary Luttrell, 70, of Liberty, KY, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services for Gary will be held 12pmCT/1pmET, Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Gerald Burton officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be held 11am-12pmCT/12pm-1pmET, Tuesday at the funeral home.



Gary Luttrell, Casey County, KY (1946-2016)

Born in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, on June 29, 1946, he was the son of the late Oris and Flora Wade Luttrell. He died Friday, July 22, 2016, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 70 years, 23 days.

Gary was a retired machinist. In his spare time, he loved collecting old cars and farming. Gary was of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include:
  • The mother of his children: Alma Luttrell of Windsor, KY

  • Two daughters: Aretha (Steve) Whaley of Louisville, KY; and April (Jessica) Luttrell of Science Hill, KY

  • Grandson: James Matthew Whaley of Louisville, KY

  • Special nephew: Greg Bernard of Dunnville, KY

  • Brother: William C. (Sue) Luttrell of Dunnville, KY

  • Sisters: Naomi (Gene) Bernard of Dunnville, KY; and Gaye (Steve) Montgomery and Glenda (Brent) Furnish, both of Crestwood, KY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Casey County VFW Post.
