Green Co. Grand Jury returns indictments 13 July 2016

Charges brought against three individuals from Campbellsville and Greensburg. Charges include possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Green County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Greensburg, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Wednesday 13 July 2016:


  • Michelle L. Burton (10/30/1984), Quail Ridge Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00014. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Possession of controlled substance, 2nd degree, drug unspecified. Count 3 - Drug paraphernalia buy/possess. Count 4 - Possession of marijuana. Count 5 - Controlled substance prescription not in original container, 1st degree. Bond set at $5,000 unsecured, MCR reporting and testing 2 times per month, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Jacobi A. Caven (05/26/1990), Keltner Rd., Cambpellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00015. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia buy/possess. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Doye T. Davenport (03/27/1961), Glenview Rd., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00016. Charged with 2 counts. Counts 1-2 - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Bond set at $1,000 cash, no contact with victim.
