She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was the daughter of the late Virgil & & Virgie Mae Jessie White and the widow of Willis "Buck" Boston. She leaves 89 direct living descendants.

Mildred Jean Boston age 79 of Edmonton passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the White Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5pm until 8pmCT, Wednesday, July 13, 2016, and after 9amCT, Thursday at the funeral home.



Mildred Jean Boston, 79, Metcalfe County, KY (1936-2016)

She was the daughter of the late Virgil & Virgie Mae Jessie White. She was born December 12, 2016. She died July 11, 2016, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 79 years, six months, and 30 days.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by:
  • Seven children: Roger (Dorothy) Boston of Greensburg, KY; Kathy Jessie of Sulphur Well, KY; Debbie (Boston) Parnell of Edmonton, KY; Rhonda (Danny) Lohden of Edmonton, KY; Donald "Kayo" (Vickie) Boston of Edmonton, KY; and Timmy (Amanda) Boston of Knob Lick, KY

  • Three brothers: Pate and Owen White of Edmonton, KY; Van White of Tompkinsville, KY

  • One sister: Anna Shirley of Glasgow, KY

  • Thirty-five grandchildren

  • Forty-six great grandchildren

  • One great great grandchild
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis "Buck" Boston; a daughter, Kimberly Boston; two sisters, Winnie Wallace and Dixie Boston; step-father, Nile Jessee; two great grandchildren, Asia Caffee and Kayden Froggett; and five son in laws, Doug Oakes, Quinn Jessie, Terry Caffee, Jerry Paul Harper and Morris Estes.
