Byron K. Watkins: Fond memories of the Garnett House Byron M Watkins writes: The Garnett House once was the home of my Great Great Grandfather. Samuel Gipson Suddarth. He lived in Evansville IN when the photo was made. This information is in one of the photo histories of Columbia recently published. It would be a wonderful historical site had it not been lost due to fire. I have wanted to walk around the area sometime and see if any signs of the past still show! Today some folks may not want some one wandering around like that. So, I do appreciate the photo and its vividness! Thanks B.
