9 Metcalfe Co. residents receive spring academic honors at LWC

COLUMBIA, KY (Mon 27 Jun 2016) - A total of 9 Metcalfe County residents have earned academic honors at Lindsey Wilson College for the 2016 spring semester. A total of four Metcalfe residents have been named to the 2016 spring semester President's List and a total of five to the Dean's List.



Named to the President's List are:
Lindsey Coomer of Knob Lick; Megan Holley of Knob Lick; Sarah Pedigo of Edmonton; and Lane Thompson of Center.
Named to the Dean's List are:
Amber Dustin of Edmonton; Aaron Goode of Summer Shade; Brittney Jessie of Edmonton; Chanea Smith of Knob Lick; Aimee Young of Edmonton.
Students named to the President's List earned a 4.0 grade point average on a 4.0 and attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. Students named to Dean's List earned at least a 3.50 graduate point average on a 4.0 scale and attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. Founded in 1903, Lindsey Wilson is a distinctive liberal arts college affiliated with the Kentucky Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. Lindsey Wilson offers a bachelor of arts degree in 23 career areas, a bachelor of science degree in two areas, and master's degrees in three career areas.
