Larry Smith Update: Firefighters still on scene controlling ashes Earlier story: Building burning after lightning strike By Larry Smith CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (5:54amCT/6:54ET - 24 Jun 2016) - Firefighters are still on the scene in Downtown Campbellsville Controlling the embers from the fires which broke ought because of lightning strikes. A big shout out to the Columbia/Adair County Fire for their assistance. There was a sigh of relief when LADDER ONE appeared on the scene, as they always do when we need them. Have to tell you folks, the mutual assistance between the area fire departments is an example for how our region can prosper.
