Free classes and activities and help offered at JOY Ministries, Columbia The JOY Ministries Crisis Resource Center (CRC), 922 Carrie Bolin Drive, Columbia, KY., continues to offer food, clothing, temporary shelter and programming to our community. This is also a place to volunteer to help others. Click 'read more' for the current list and contact information. The CRC will offer a vegan cooking class on Saturday, June 30th at 6:00 p.m. Every Monday we offer children's programming at 5:00 p.m. On Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. we offer fun craft and activity classes for young girls ages 8-12. We will host a financial budgeting workshop at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20. All attendees to the workshop will receive an extra bag of food. These events will be at our 922 Carrie Bolin location. There is a lot more going on, please check out our Facebook page to see all our events! We are asking for volunteers to help with our annual Missions Week the last week of July. We expect over 70 teen missionaries to serve and spread God's love at work sites around our area. The Center is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2-6 and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-2. All contributions to JOY Ministries are tax deductible. If interested in serving or donating, please contact a JOY Ministries member or the Crisis Resource Center at 270-380-1808.
