Victoria Pike wants more street lights on Burkesville St/Rd

Victoria Pike writes:
I certainly hope we can find enough money for just a few street lights near Walmart and the new motel. I only asked for a few there but others were going to look into bigger possibilities of lights to the Veterans Highway.

I understand they are going to be quite expensive but we must keep up with all the recent progress in the area. So once again I am pleading with the city to try to find enough for just a few to start with and we can do the test later as we can afford them.

The almost one million dollars worth of lighting at the Cumberland Parkway is magnificent. Kinda looks bad when you leave that to drive onto almost total darkness. I encourage you to help me out here and let the city know how important this is to our community. - Victoria Pike
