Adair County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 14 Jun 2016

Indictments brought against 9 individuals from Columbia, Campbellsville, Russell Springs, Science Hill and Somerset, KY. Charges include assault, DUI, possession, forgery, and manufacture of methamphetamine.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 14 June, 2016:

  • Shelton Ray Grider (10/05/1961), Geneva Dr., Russell Springs, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00058. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Assault, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Operating a motor vehicle with alcohol concentration .08+ or while under the influence of alcohol or other substance (aggravating circumstance), 2nd offense. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Bail set at $10,000 cash. Arraignment June 28, 2016 at 1pmCT.

  • Mary F. Hornback AKA Saho (12/31/1963), Pickett Mell Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00059. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Arraignment July 12, 2016 at 1pmCT.

  • Adrian S. Ballou (07/03/1991), Pelly Lane, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00060. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, 2nd offense. Count 2 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 3 - Operating on suspended/revoked operator's license. Arraignment July 12, 2016 at 1pmCT.

  • Nathan J. Bradshaw (12/27/1987), Risen Avenue, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00061. Charged with 6 counts. Counts 1-5 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Count 6 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bail set at $500 cash. Arraignent June 28, 2016 at 1pmCT.

  • Angela Leah Smith (03/30/1973), Ross St., Russell Springs, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00062. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (meth). Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Arraignment July 12, 2016 at 1pmCT.

  • William D. Bradshaw (10/03/1961), Burkesville Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00063. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Manufacture of methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (meth). Count 3 - Operating a motor vehicle with alcohol concentration .08+ or while under the influence of alcohol or other substance, 2nd offense. Count 4 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 5 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bail set at $10,000 cash.

  • Chris A. Stubbs (11/21/1973), Sunset Dr., Somerset, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00064. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (meth). Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Arraignment July 12, 2016 at 1pmCT.

  • Angela M. Chaney (04/28/1976), Pointer Creek Rd., Science Hill, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00065. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, 1st offense. Count 2 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (meth). Arraignment July 12, 2016 at 1pmCT.

  • Steven B. Pigman (04/19/1971), Beauchamp Blvd., Somerset, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00066. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (meth). Count 2 - Public intoxication (controlled substance). Arraignment July 12, 2016 at 1pmCT.
