Mary Aline Vannice, 79, of Russellville, KY died at 6:27amCT, Friday, June 3, 2016 in Russellville, KY.

Funeral service will be at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET,, Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY by Bro. Danny Pace Burial will be in Lebanon National Cemetery, 20 Hwy 208, Lebanon, KY. Visitation will be 4-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Monday, June 6th, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville.



Mary Aline Vannice, Taylor Co., KY (1937-2016)

Mary Aline Vannice of Russellville, KY, daughter of the late John Sylvester Sluder and Lettie Mae Cox Sluder, was born Sunday, April 25, 1937, in Taylor County, KY. She died Friday, June 3, 2016 in Russellville, Logan County, KY, at the age of 79 years, one months, and nine days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Raymond Leroy Vannice on July 16, 1953. He preceeded her in death on September 19, 2004.

She is survived by the following:
  • Seven daughters and three sons: Cathy Tungate and Wanda Janes and husband, Roy, all of Campbellsville, KY; Bonnie Ackley, Brenda Vannice, Susan Stratton and husband, J.W., Terry Vannice, Randy Vannice and wife, Barbara, and Jeff Vannice, all of Russellville, KY; Julie Fisher and husband, William of Bradfordsville, KY; and Ruth Warren and husband, Tom of White Mills, KY

  • Twenty grandchildren

  • Twenty one great-grandchildren

  • Three brothers and five sisters: Beechel Clark, Harold Sluder and wife, Debbie; James Sluder, Shirley Graybeal and husband, Roy; Lillie Benningfield, Jane Dudgeon and husband, David; Linda Newton and husband, Michael; and Helen Claywell and husband, Gary, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
She was also preceeded in death by a daughter, Cathy Jean Vannice; one son-in-law, Dan Ackley; two grandchildren, Joey Tungate and Angie Ackley; one great-grandchild, Racelon Sellers; one brother, Charles Sluder; two brothers-in-law: Leslie Clark and Montie Benningfield.
