She was a farmer and homemaker and a member of the Milltown United Methodist Church. She was a member of prominent Adair County family. She was the daughter of the late Roy Allen & Ruth Thomas Garrison and the widow of Robert Odell Baker. She leaves four direct living descendants.

Eva Lee Baker, age 85, of Frankfort, KY formerly of the Clay Ridge community in Adair County, KY passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center, Frankfort, KY
Funeral service Wednesday, June 1, 2016 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Robert Sweeney & Allen Sweeney will officiate. Interment in the Garrison Cemetery. The family request visiting after 3:30pmCT, on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.



Eva Lee Baker, Adair County, KY (1930-2016)

Eva Lee Baker was born September 9, 1930 the daughter of the late Roy Allen and Ruth Thomas Garrison. She passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center, Frankfort, Franklin County, KY, at the age of 85 years, eight months, and 19 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Odell Baker, January 6, 1997. She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Judy Sweeney and her husband Bruce of Frankfort KY

  • Two brothers: Lewis Garrison and his wife Gayle of Columbia, KY; and Sam Garrison and wife Wynemia of Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister: Patsy Jenkins of Columbia, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Robert Sweeney and wife Becca; and Allen Sweeney and wife Lauren

  • One great-grandchild: Ella Rose Sweeney
Eva was a farmer and homemaker; she was a member of the Milltown United Methodist Church.
