Jessica King earns NAIA All-American honors Jessica King concluded her career at Lindsey Wilson College with outstanding performances in national tournament play, when Lindsey Wilson achieved its first ever national title match. By Chris Wells COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson senior Jessica King has been named NAIA Women’s Tennis All-American, NAIA officials announced on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. King was selected second-team all-American by the NAIA All-America committee. Sixteen women were selected to the first team while an addition 16 earned second-team honors. King posted a 16-6 singles record in 2016, including winning her singles match 6-3, 6-4 over Sophie Feller in the national championship match with Georgia Gwinnett. She ended the season with a 22-4 doubles mark. King earns second-team honors for the second consecutive season. She concluded her collegiate career with a 42-15 singles record and a 51-17 doubles mark. Lindsey Wilson reached the national championship match for the first time in the program’s history last week. The Blue Raiders fell 5-4 to Georgia Gwinnett in the finals to close the season with a 21-5 record.
