LWC Blue Raiders face The Master's NAIA Baseball World Series

COLUMBIA, KY - The NAIA national office released the Avista-NAIA Baseball World Series Bracket following the completion of the nine Opening Round double-elimination tournaments on Friday afternoon.

Lindsey Wilson is the No. 8 seed and faces off against No. 9 seed The Master's (CA) in the second game of the World Series on May 27, 2016 at 2pmCT/12pm Pacific Time in the 10-team, double elimination tournament at Harris Field, 500 8th Avenue, Lewiston, Idaho.



The Blue Raiders punched their ticket to the World Series after winning the Opening Round Lawrenceville Bracket with a 4-3 walk-off win over No. 1-ranked Georgia Gwinnett on Friday. After dropping the opening game of the bracket, Lindsey Wilson won five-straight elimination games to earn their second-straight trip to the World Series.

The Master's advanced to the World Series after winning the Opening Round - Santa Barbara Bracket with a 5-4 victory over William Carey (Miss.) in the championship game.
