Columbia Police arrest pair on alleged drug charges Both individuals lodged in Adair County Regional Jail Issuance of warrants and/or arrests are not findings of guilt. An individual charged by police or in a warrant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding. By Ofc Josh Brockman, Public Information Officer Columbia Police Department, Jason Cross, Chief On Saturday morning, May 7, 2016, at approximately 01:07amCT, Columbia Police Ofc. Josh Brockman and CPD Detective Brad Scholl initiated a traffic stop on a 2005 Dodge Caravan operating north on Burkesville Road around the LBN Parkway interchange. The traffic stop was the result of an ongoing drug investigation by the department. A quantity of prescription narcotics, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia was seized during the stop.
