Norvel's barn probably won't be rebuilt, he says Norvel Farris said this morning he probably won't rebuild the historic barn which was destroyed by fire on April 27 , 2016.. It was built in in 1948, he said, and back then cost $1,200. To put that in perspective, a pickup truck in those years costs somewhat less.
