15 LWC Track athletes earn academic All-MSC honors Lindsey Wilson Women's Track leads conference with eight Academic All-MSC honorees. Seven Lindsey Wilson student-athletes earn Men's Track Academic All-MSC honors By Charlie Balcom Eight members of the Lindsey Wilson women's outdoor track & field team earned Academic All Mid-South Conference honors, the conference office announced on Thursday. Kaylin Anderson, Breana Conway, Maria Cozzens, Rachel Green, Emma Looney, Kaile Short, Rachel Wesley and Heather Wilson each received the conference academic award. It marks the third-straight season Cozzens and Short have earned the honor, while Wesley and Wilson both pick up the second award of their careers. The eight Women's honorees tied for the most in the conference along with Campbellsville (Ky.) and Cumberlands (Ky.). Seven members of the Lindsey Wilson men's outdoor track & field team earned Academic All Mid-South Conference honors, the conference office announced on Thursday. Ryan Cole, Ben Graham, Austin Hayes, Ben Hoffman, Andrew Morgan, Austin Sparrow and John-Paul Williamson all received the academic honor. Williamson and Graham both earn the award for the third times in their careers, while Cole and Hoffman pick up their second honors. Campbellsville (Ky.) led all institutions with 12 Men's honorees, while Georgetown (Ky.) had the second-most recipients with nine. In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.
