Billy Charles Smith, 64, Metcalfe Co., KY (1951-2016)

He was a farmer and member of the Prices Creek Baptist Church and his final resting place will be at Bragg Cemetery in the Prices Creek community. He was the son of the late Charles and Annie Lee England Smith. His wife, Sharon Garrett Smith, survives. He leaves four direct living descendants.

Billy Charles Smith age 64 of Edmonton, KY, died Thursday, April 21, 2016 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 11amCT, Sunday at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Bragg Cemetery, 100 Bragg Cemetery Road, Edmonton, KY (in Western Adair County, KY.) Visitation will be from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, Saturday, April 23, 2016, and after 8am-9amCT, Sunday at the funeral home.



Billy Charles Smith, Metcalfe Co., KY (1951-2016)


He was the son of the late Charles and Annie Lee England Smith, was born July 16, 1951. He died Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Edmonton, KY at the age of 64 years, nine months, and five days.

Billy was a farmer and member of the Prices Creek Baptist Church in Adair County, KY.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Garrett Smith, and the following:
  • Two sons: Richard Smith and wife Tonya of Glasgow, KY; and Robert Smith of Edmonton, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Megan Leigh and Ryan Smith of Glasgow, KY

  • Three sisters: Shirley Runyon, Janice Butler and Betty Smith all of Glasgow, KY
Besides his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Smith.
