Estill Murrell Hamilton age 83 of Edmonton passed away Sunday, April 17th at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton, KY.

Funeral services will be held 2pmCT, Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pmCT, Tuesday and after 9amCT, Wednesday at the funeral home.



Estill Hamilton, 83, Metcalfe County, KY (1932-2016)


Estill was the son of the late Clem Granvil and Glenzora Coomer Hamilton. He was born August 17, 1932. He died Sunday, April 17, 2016, in Edmonton, Metcalfe County, KY, at the age of 83 years, eight months.

Estell retired from the Edmonton Toll Plaza and was one of the founding fathers of the Edmonton Worship Center were he served as trustee and sung in the church choir. He served in the United States Army from May 19, 1955 until April 30, 1957.

Estill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Novella Harris Hamilton and the several nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Estill was preceded in death by six sisters, Katheren Pickett, Madge Janes, Dorothy Rubarts, Marie Taylor, Ruth Pinckney and Sylvia Romines.
