John C. Sandlin, 82, Adair Co., KY (1934-2016) He was retired from Naval Ordinance and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a native of Perry County, KY, and a resident of Adair County, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late John & Minta Baker Sandlin. His wife, Rosetta Abner Sandlin, survives. He was the patriarch of a large, distinguished family. He leaves 19 direct living descendants, a God daughter and honorary grndchild to carry on his legacy. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pmCT, Tuesday, April 19, 2016, and & on Wednesday morning before the funeral service.
