Teresa Carol Minor, 69, Taylor County, KY (1946-2016)

She was a native of Marion County, KY, and a resident of Taylor Countyat the time of her death. She was a member of the Raikes Hill Baptist Church. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after thirty years of service. She was the daughter of the late Mack Thompson and Isabel Lampkin Thompson. Her husband of 35 years, Donald Dean Minor, survives. She leaves seven direct living descendants.

Teresa Carol Minor, 69 of Campbellsville, KY, died at 9:40amET, Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 12pmCT/1pmET, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Joe Segree. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Monday, April 11, 2016, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Pallbearers: Jeff Bland, Patrick Caswell, Justin Deep, Chad Edelen, John F. Hagan, Kevin Luckett, Tyler Mattingly, and Joe Mark Thompson.

Teresa Carol Minor, 69, Taylor County, KY (1946-2016)

Teresa Carol Minor of Campbellsville, KY was the daughter of the late Mack Thompson and Isabel Lampkin Thompson. She was born September 19, 1946 in Marion County, KY. She died Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 69 years, six months, and 21 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Raikes Hill Baptist Church. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after thirty years of service.

She united in marriage with Donald Dean Minor March 21, 1981.

Besides her husband, Donald Dean Minor, she is survived by:
  • One son and one daughter: Brian Mattingly and wife, Ann of Greensburg, KY; and Deanna Haskins and husband, Danon of Louisville, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Tyler Mattingly, Haley Mattingly and Karli Mattingly of Greensburg, KY; and Emery Haskins and Violet Haskins of Louisville, KY

  • Nine sisters: Ruth Hagan and Louise Deep and husband, Eddie of Lebanon, KY; Trisha Edelen and husband, Joey of Loretto, KY; Judy Blandford and husband, Tommy of Raywick, KY; Sue Sidebottom and husband, Mike of Elizabethtown, KY; Joyce Hamilton and Jeanne Caswell and husband, Rich of Louisville, KY; Rita Bland and husband, Lonnie and Kaye Luckett and husband, Nolan of Versailles, KY

  • Two sisters-in-law: Barbara Thompson of Raywick, KY; and Geraldine Moore of Lebanon, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Tommy Thompson and Charles Thompson.
