Paul "Tom Dooley" Richards, 75, of Campbellsville, died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral service, Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Joe Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 5pmCT, Saturday, April 9, 2016.



Casket bearers: Richie Crews, Ricky Hicks, Chas Lumpkin, Mike Lumpkin, Sammy Smith and Troy Coomer.

Honorary casket bearers: Tammy Bright, Waylon Franklin, Austin Crews, Billy Jones and Larry Coomer.


Paul "Tom Dooley" Richards, 75, Adair Co., KY (1941-2016)


He was born January 30, 1941, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Charlie & Lida Melson Richards. He died Thursday, April 7, 2016, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 75 years, two months, and eight days.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Stanley Richards, Mabel Hoover, Charlie Richards, Jr., Carl Richards, George Richards, Linda Coffman, Ruby Gabehart & Joyce Ann Richards.

Survivors include:
  • Three sisters: Connie Lumpkin of Campbellsville, KY; Joyce Owens of Indianapolis, IN; and Diane Smith of Columbia, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews
