Grace Kean, 87, of Jamestown, KY, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home.

Funeral Services for Grace Kean will be Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 12pmNoonCT, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY with Bro. Daryl Pelston officiating. Friends may visit after 9amCT, on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rexroat Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.

She was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY on February 26, 1929. She was a daughter of the late Dellar (Stephens) and Ottis Absher. She died Sunday, April 3, 2016, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 87 years, one month, and eight days.

Grace is survived by:
  • A daughter: Sandy (Joe) Campbell, of Russell Springs, KY

  • A son: Jerry (Wilma) Kean, of Edinburgh, IN

  • Three sisters: Betty Mann, of Jamestown, KY; Linda Roy, of Anderson, IN; and Nellie Mershion, of Greenfield, IN

  • Brother: Roger Absher, of Orlando, FL

  • Four grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Willie Paul Kean, daughter Paulette Wiend, son Lanny Kean, granddaughter Jill Deel, great granddaughter Zoie Deel, one sister Nina Debord, and four brothers Walter, Fonzie, A. R. and Jr. Absher.
