Taylor Co. Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 29 Mar 2016
Charges brought against 15 individuals from Campbellsville and Georgetown, KY, and Summerville, SC. Charges include theft, possession, tampering with evidence, promoting contraband, trafficking, criminal mischief, DUI, and sexual assault.
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 29 March 2016:
- Leslie C. Frazier, Jr. (01/03/1989), Roland St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00035. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property (firearm). Bond set at $1,100 cash.
- Leslie C. Frazier, Jr. (01/03/1989), Roland St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00036. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bond set at $1,200 cash.
- Jason W. Stearman (08/08/1976), Shreveport Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00037. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bond set at $1,100 cash.
- Ashley B. Lawson (09/27/1993), Kindness Rd., Cambpellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00038-001. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 2 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition - firearm. Bond set at $15,000/10%, no contact with victim.
- Taylor M. Hatfield (02/13/1997), Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00038-002. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 2 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition - firearm. Bond set at $15,000/10%, no contact with victim.
- Justin C. King (03/13/1986), St. Matthew Cemetery Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00038-003. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 2 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition - firearm. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $18,000 cash, no contact with victim.
- William T. Kendall (06/13/1986), Towhee Circle, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00039. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (heroin). Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia buy/possess. Bond set at $20,000/10%.
- Justin King (03/13/1986), St. Matthew Cemetery Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00040. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 2 - Promoting contraband, 2nd degree. Count 3 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition under $500. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $12,000/10%, no contact with WalMart.
- Christopher Dicken (12/14/1989), Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00041. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

- Daniel J. Shimek (08/15/1976), N. Columbia Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00043. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (>=2g methamphetamine). Count 2 - Traffic in marijuana, less than 8oz, 2st offense while in possession of firearm. Count 3 - Drug paraphernalia buy/possess. Count 4 - Possession of defaced firearm. Bond set at $1,500 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol.
- Daniel J. Shimek (08/15/1976), N. Columbia Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00044. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Bond set at $1,500 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol.
- Chastity D. Mitchell (07/02/1981), Shields Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00045. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others $500 or more but under $10,000. Bond set at $1,000 cash, no contact with victim.
- Michael J. Aumiller (10/23/1987), Meader St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00046. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Operate motor vehicle under influence alcohol/drugs/etc. .08, 1st offense. Count 4 - Unatuhorized use of motor vehicle, 1st offense. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol.
- Rodger L. Cox (03/13/1973), Sanders Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00047. Charged with 10 counts. Count 1 - Fleeing/evading police, 1st degree. Count 2 - Criminal mischief, 1st degree. Count 3 - Operating on suspended/revoked operators license. Count 4 - Resisting arrest. Count 5 - Speeding 26mph over or greater. Count 6 - Failure to wear seat belts. Count 7 - No registration plates. Count 8 - Careless driving. Count 9 - Improper passing. Count 10 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $10,000 full cash.
- Charles N. Tunstall, III (09/16/1982), Bee St., Summerville, SC Indictment No. 16-CR-00048. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Terroristic threatening, 2nd degree. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.
- Joshua B. Cox (11/22/1981), E First St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00049. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition from building $500 or more but under $10,000. Bond set at $500 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.
- Joshua B. Cox (11/22/1981), Ray St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00050. Charged with 6 counts. Counts 1-5 - Theft of identity of another w/o consent. Count 6 - Fraud use credit card u/$500 w/6 month period. Bond set at $500 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, same bond as 16-CR-49.
- Brian E. Gaudinier (08/10/1985), Browns Ct., Cambpellsville, KY Indictment No. 16-CR-00051. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Sexual abuse, 1st degree, victim under 12 years of age. Count 2 - Sexual abuse, 1st degree. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.
