Campbellsville HS fishing team starts season with wins By Calen McKinney Public Information Officer, Campbellsville Public Schools Campbellsville High School fishing team has started its season and picked up several wins. The team’s first-ever competition was at Lake Cumberland on Saturday, March 12. Kendon Young, a senior, and sophomore Bryce Richardson finished in the top half of the competitors. There were about 50 boats at the tournament. On Saturday, March 26, the team fished at Green River Lake and competed against Taylor County. Andy Sabo and Caden Wheatley, seniors, finished second in total weight of fish caught per boat. Connor Wilson, a sophomore, was second place in the biggest fish caught category.
