Teddy G. Smith, 75, Cumberland Co., KY (1940-2016)

He was a native of Burkesville, KY and a resident of Muncie, IN at the time of his death. He attended Cumberland County High School and moved to Muncie, IN in the 1960s. He was retired from Feeny Manufacturing in Muncie. He enjoyed fishing and working in his lawn. He leaves four direct living descendants.

Teddy G. Smith, 75, passed away on March 26, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Muncie, IN.

Funeral services will be held at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Burkesville, KY, on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10amCT. Visitation prior to services will start at 9amCT. Burial will follow in the Booher Cemetery at Claywell Chapel.



Teddy G. Smith, 75, Cumberland Co., KY (1940-2016)


He was born in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, on May 19, 1940. He was the son of the late Elvin Ray and Lela (Witham) Smith. He died Saturday, March 26, 2016, in Muncie, Delaware County, IN, at the age of 75 years, 10 months, and seven days.

He attend Cumberland County High School and moved to Muncie, Indiana in the 1960s.

Teddy retired from Feeny Manufacturing in Muncie. He loved to fish and also enjoyed working in the yard.

In addition to his parents, Teddy was preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Johnson and her husband, Robert, and his brother, Herman Smith.

He is survived by:
  • His children: Michael Ray Smith, of Surprise, AZ; Kelly Lee Smith of San Diego, CA

  • Granddaughters, Jamie Smith (Andy), and Taylor Hatch

  • and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
