Karnes and Emma Givens Karnes and the widow of David Ray Cundiff, her husband of over 54 years.. She leaves 20 direct living descendants. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith. She was an adult caregiver and homemaker.

Mrs. Emily Elizabeth Cundiff of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Nepolian B. "N.B." Karnes and Emma Givens Karnes, was born on September 26, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Friday, March 25, 2016 in Green County. She was 76 years, 5 months, and 28 days of age.

The funeral services for Mrs. Emily Elizabeth Cundiff will be conducted at 1pmCT, Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, with entombment in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Keith Clements and Bro. Mark Cundiff will be officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4pm until 8pmCT, Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Sunday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Phillip Tommy Judd, Larry Handy, Keith Clements, Alan Cundiff, Willian Parrigan, Phillip Cundiff, and Glen Corbin.

Mrs. Emily Elizabeth Cundiff of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Nepolian B. "N.B." Karnes and Emma Givens Karnes, was born on September 26, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Friday, March 25, 2016 in Green County, KY. She was 76 years, 5 months, and 28 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith. She was an adult caregiver and homemaker.

She united in marriage to David Ray CundiffDavid Ray Cundiff on December 13, 1957 who preceded her in death on October 8, 2012.

Survivors include:
  • Three sons and daughters-in-law: Dennis and Melissa Cundiff, Paul and Ann Cundiff all of Green County, KY; and DeWaine and Cassie Cundiff of Versailles, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Eight great-grandchildren

  • A sister: Dorothy Curry of Louisville, KY

  • Special friends: Emily Faye Cundiff of Taylor County, KY; and Donna Coffey, and Jane Allen Coffey both of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Mrs. Cundiff was also preceded in death by a sister and a brother: Louise Phillips, and Bro. James Karnes.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
