The funeral service will be held that evening at 7pmCT Monday, March 28 at the funeral home. At Cathy's request, cremation will follow. She died Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 51 years, seven months, and 23 days. Cathy Long Akin was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia "Pat" Wright Hare on October 4, 2015. Her survivors include:
