Josh Brockman Public Information Officer Columbia Police Department, Chief, Jason Cross On March 4, 2016, CPD Ofc. Jamie Cole and Josh Brockman were dispatched to Walmart shopping center when a loss prevention officer observed several subjects that appeared to be stealing merchandise. As officers approached 38 year old William Adams of Edmonton, KY, he fled on foot and a chase ensued. Williams was caught in nearby field and placed into custody along with two additional females.
